Equipment sold by professionals is required to meet ULC standards and staff are required to maintain certifications. Systems sold at retail outlets do not necessarily meet these standards nor is the same level of support provided.
Did you know a permit is required?
HRM Bylaw B-400 states any monitoring alarm system requires a permit. There is no cost to the owner and the alarm registration can be completed online.
