Updated 25-Sep-2020
There has been a significant increase in COVID-19 cases reported in Nova Scotia and mainly within the HRM area. Further restrictions have been put in place to help reduce the risk of spread.
Restrictions under the Authority of the Health Protection Act:
- Social gathering, no more than 5 People, with 2-meter (6 foot) distance between persons
- Traveled outside Atlantic bubble, self-isolate for 14 days
- Stay home if sick, complete online self-assessment and/or call 811
We all must do our best to help reduce the spread and protect one another and our families.
With this in mind and due to provincial restrictions and the recent rise in active cases with close proximity to CSD work sites, effective immediately all CSD Staff will wear non-medical face masks when on worksites and other areas when unable to socially distance. Each vehicle will have hand sanitizer and the office will have masks and sanitizer available for refill. Use sanitizer as often as possible and encourage others as well.
If employees feel ill or otherwise unwell, they are to stay home and NOT come to work. Self-assess and/or call 811 for guidance.
Let's all do our part to stay safe and stay working.
Sincerely,
CSD Management
